Series A funding from investors will accelerate rapid global growth and further research and development

Insight Robotics, a technology company that safeguards natural resources and infrastructure through automation and early-warning threat detection, announced that the company closed a Series A financing round of approximately $2 million.
Bright Success Capital, Caldera Pacific Capital Partners and Radiant Venture Capital were among investors who have supported Insight Robotics since 2011. The funding will enable Insight Robotics to further invest in research and development, talent acquisition and international growth.
Insight Robotics has installed its wildfire detection solution in more than 10 forestry and government agencies in five provinces and seven cities across China to date. The company’s aerial imaging solution has also undergone a successful proof of concept in Southeast Asia. Today, customers in industries such as forestry and agriculture are in the process of adopting Insight Robotics solutions.
The $2 million Series A funding in addition to the company’s previous $2 million seed funding supports Insight Robotics’ sales and marketing activities in key markets such as China, Southeast Asia, Australia and the Americas. The investment will also enable Insight Robotics to accelerate research and development to increase the capabilities of its robotics technology in gathering data that will help industry professionals use key insights for time-critical decision making.
