Insight Robotics Limited, a technology company that safeguards natural resources and infrastructure through automation and early-warning threat detection, was awarded the top prize at the IBM SmartCamp Asia Pacific Regionals held in Bangalore, India on 13-14 November, 2014.
After winning IBM SmartCamp China in August, Insight Robotics went on to pitch the business and technology alongside several startups from countries across Asia Pacific, including India, New Zealand and Thailand, at the regional competition.
An exclusive program aimed at identifying early-stage entrepreneurs who are developing business ventures in growth areas such as cloud, big data and mobile computing, IBM SmartCamp provides startups with the opportunity to pitch and network with venture capitalists, serial entrepreneurs, and business and technology experts. The program has helped to launch more than 500 new businesses in key areas such as green energy, healthcare and transportation.
“We are honoured by the support for our solutions and the potential of robotics, sensor and artificial intelligence technology in protecting natural resources, infrastructure and lives around the globe,” said Rex Sham, Co-Founder and Chief Analyst at Insight Robotics.
Insight Robotics will participate in the SmartCamp Global Finals in New York on 4-5 February 2015.
